20-Year Workmanship Guarantee

Also known as: 20-year guaranteeSunrise workmanship guarantee

Sunrise's workmanship guarantee covers our installation labor — the quality of how we do the work — for 20 years from the date of completion. If a connection we made fails, a wire we ran develops a fault from installation error, or a panel we installed has a defect attributable to our workmanship, we come back and fix it at no charge.

The guarantee does NOT cover: manufacturer defects (those go through the equipment manufacturer's warranty), customer-supplied materials, damage from outside causes (rodents, water intrusion, weather, fire), modifications by other parties, or normal wear-and-tear on consumables. Full terms at /warranty.

The guarantee is transferable to subsequent homeowners with written assignment — meaning if you sell your house, the next owner inherits the remaining years.

02·Why it matters in Santa Cruz County

Twenty years reflects how long we think the work should last. If a connection we made fails in year 12, that is still ours to come back and fix — which is only affordable if we do the job right the first time.

03·Sunrise's take

The math of a 20-year guarantee only works if we do the job right the first time. That's the entire bet.
