Soquel is small but central — the Mid-County hub between Santa Cruz and Aptos. The housing leans toward 1955–1985 ranch homes plus some Victorian + craftsman in the older Soquel Village core. Electrical stock is mostly the era-typical 100A–125A panels with the occasional Federal Pacific or Zinsco hiding in homes built in the late 50s–60s.
We do a lot of Soquel work because it's our routing hub — when we're driving from Santa Cruz to Aptos, we're going through Soquel. EV chargers are common (Soquel has high EV ownership), and lots of customers are starting electrification work — heat pumps, induction range conversions, water heater swaps. The 1960s-era panels often can't support the new load without an upgrade first.
