La Selva Beach is a small coastal community south of Rio del Mar. Mostly 1950s–70s beach homes with the era-typical electrical (often 100A panels, sometimes Federal Pacific). Salt-air corrosion is a factor. We don't get as many calls here as bigger coastal areas, but when we do it's usually a panel or service entrance conversation.
La Selva Beach is unincorporated Santa Cruz County — County Planning permits. Simple permits are often same- or next-day; more complex scopes can take longer — we pull the permit and give you the realistic timeline with your quote.
